I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since our wedding, but the memories are still as fresh as ever. As I sit here in Italy with my husband, reminiscing about that special day, I can’t help but think about the incredible florist who made it all possible: Marida.
Late in the game, just one month before our wedding, I found myself in Cape Town, eager to bring my floral vision to life. Marida’s professionalism and dedication left an indelible mark on me. She opened her shop on a Sunday, welcoming my parents and me with open arms. That’s the kind of dedication you rarely find.
Marida not only listened to my ideas but also helped refine and enhance them. Her expertise was evident as she effortlessly matched our color scheme and introduced us to her stunning flower library. It was like stepping into a floral wonderland. The wedding day itself was a dream come true. Marida and her team worked their magic, creating a breathtaking arch adorned with flowers that framed our ceremony perfectly. The bridal table and guest tables were nothing short of enchanting, thanks to Marida’s exquisite touch.
But it was my bridal bouquet, as well as those of my bridesmaids, that truly stole the show. Marida’s artistry shone through in these arrangements, and they were beyond anything I had ever imagined.
One of the most memorable aspects was the candle detail Marida and her team incorporated. It added a beautiful, romantic glow to the entire venue, creating an ambiance that our guests still talk about to this day.
